To Benefit the CHILDREN at the SALVATION ARMY SHELTER of Ft Worth
So many generous people opened their hearts and wallets to make sure the 100+ kids living at the Salvation Army Shelters in Ft Worth and Arlington had some wonderful gifts to open Christmas morning. To see those kids' (of all ages) faces light up at the sight of Santa riding up on his decked out motorcycle - was a wonderful reward. Thank you all who attended & supported the North Texas Toy Run. It takes an army of dedicated volunteers to make this a success!
Another great toy run success story in the books. We had to adjust last minute due to a variety of changes, but it all came together.
The Main Event provided
us with an amazing warm welcome and helped facilitate our starting point.
North Texas Motorcade did an amazing job escorting our riders safely to the Salvation Army.
Grapevine Police Department helped secure our route out of
Grapevine Safely.
All the kids we able to see Santa and Mrs. Claus, and I would be remiss if I didn't mention, our Amazing Elf!
The families all received photos, thanks to our portrait specialists - Ross & Liz.
All
the parents were able to pick up the gifts provided by our special adopters, who handpicked, wrapped, bundled and labeled them!
The families enjoyed all the goodies and treats we helped provide for their Christmas
party.
Looking forward to next year, already!
